The "Sharp Cup" cup is the 5th oldest 
international sporting trophy in the world 
and is engraved with the names of 
winning delegations from around the globe.
 

"The Nova Scotia International Tuna Tournament" 
(NSITT)
Winners of this tournament are presented with the
"Sharp Cup"

Held in September of each year!
 International boaters gather in Halifax in a competition to catch the largest tuna! 
All proceeds of the sale of the tuna are donated to 
the "IWK Health Centre" in Halifax Nova Scotia.
 

The "NSITT Tournament Champions"
 are extended an invitation to compete in the 
"World Fishing Championships" each year.

The "NSITT" adheres to all "IGFA" rules 
and is proud to be an 
IGFA OFFSHORE 
WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP 
Qualifying Event. 








            
John Mills is one of the founding directors of the
"Nova Scotia International Tuna Tournament Society" which was responsible for reviving
the quest for the "Sharp Cup".  John along with his crew is also the 2003 winner of the  "NSITT".

co-ordinator of  events for the
"Nova Scotia International Tuna Tournament".
