Please read the following changes for the 2009 "Nova Scotia International Tuna Tournament".

This year we will again be at Purdy's Wharf. As most of you will remember it is a much better location. Purdy's Wharf is the large dock between the office towers next to the Casino.

Changes this year!  Shotgun start on Wednesday at 8 am off of Purdy's Wharf, Thursday and Friday start time is whenever boat wishes, all lines, all three days, must be out of the water by 5pm, unless a fish is on.

The fee has increased to $3,200 this year and the hotel is the Delta Halifax phone 1-888-423-3583. rooms are $185.00 plus tax,
please book by August 28th / 2009.

You are responsible for booking your own rooms.

By using these facilities the complete tournament will be together in one place.

<>The closing ceremonies will be held at the Marriott in the 2nd floor Junior Ballroom on the Saturday at 6pm.

It will be a (8:00 a.m. start each morning) with (lines out of the water time at  5:00 p.m.) unless you have a tuna on your line.

Registration remains the same as in past years. It would be appreciated if you could at least mail or fax in the registration forms, with the forms completely filled out front and back  prior to registering, so there isn't the dockside rush,  this will also help cut down on the confusion on the dock on Tuesday. We could have each team's kit together. For new teams, this means that you can purchase your Dept. of Fisheries and Oceans fishing license at dockside, as well as your IGFA membership, if you do not have one. Your Captain's information packages and team kits will also be handed out then.

We look forward to seeing you in September and will update you with any future changes.
